Volume 18, Issue 1, 2014

Welcome to Volume 18 of the Safety Science Monitor

This special issue contains the proceedings of an International Occupational Safety Seminar in Trondheim, Norway (January 2013), where academics from the Nordic countries and the US met to discuss different approaches to the prevention of occupational trauma, and to reflect on the Nordic experiences in this research area.

The Editorial, penned by Yogindra Samant, who’s PhD Thesis is included in extenso in these proceedings, addresses the eternal dialectics of accident vs. injury - or maybe social science vs. medicine.
